The idea is to have relatives from both families to meet in advance and create the right atmosphere necessary for the Special Day in advance. This is a great opportunity to break the ice, and get to know everybody. For some families is probably their first time meeting with the other half of the family. If you are abroad and you did not plan anything together and you barely know the others.
